Swim shorts

Swim shorts you can train in. Big soft blobs from a pencil sketch, one plain pocket with a K. Fifteen colours on paper.

Use
Swimming and training. Wear them to the gym, then straight into the water.
Fabric
Quick-dry polyester made for swimwear, with a little stretch. Chosen with the maker after the first quotes.
Print
The pattern is printed into the fabric before it is cut and sewn, so it does not crack or peel.
Cut
Loose and boxy, legs slightly flared. About 43 cm long at the side in size M.
Waist
Elastic waistband in one plain colour, with a drawcord through two metal eyelets.
Pockets
Two side pockets hidden in the side seams, with mesh bags so water runs out. One patch pocket on the back, plain, with a band in the second colour, a puffy K and a small eyelet to drain.
Inside
A light mesh liner. Still deciding whether to keep it.

The idea

It started as a pencil sketch: a pair of shorts covered in large soft blobs, like paint that spilled and dried.

Then a second thought. The shorts we train in are swim shorts. They dry fast, they move well, and after the session you can jump into the water in them. So these are made for both.

One pair, two jobs

Training and swimming ask for the same things: fabric that dries in minutes, a cut that does not hold you back, and nothing that soaks up water and sags.

So: quick-dry fabric with a little stretch, a loose boxy cut, a light mesh liner, mesh pocket bags and a small eyelet in the back pocket that lets the water out. One pair, more than one thing.

We drew every colour pair we like. Two come from our hoodie, one from Tee 01.
